Jeremy is currently a sophomore public relations major at
Howard University, one of the most prestigious universities in the United
States of America.
Jeremy was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. He attended
Roosevelt Elementary School, where he was admitted into the Gifted Program. He
went on to attend Bak Middle School of the Arts, where he majored in Dance.
When it came time for high school, Jeremy put away his dance shoes for a rigorous
academic curriculum when he decided to attend Suncoast Community High School.
At Suncoast High School, he was enrolled in the International Baccalaureate
program, a rigorous college preparatory program. He also held numerous
leadership positions such as Vice President of the Student Government
Association, President of the Black Student Union, and Vice President of
Pennies for Peace.
Jeremy was accepted to Howard University on a full-ride
scholarship. Also, he was awarded the Kappa Alpha Psi Atwell Scholarship and
joined the Emma Bowen Minorities for Media Foundation, a foundation that pairs
qualified minority college students and media companies. His corporate sponsor
is Comcast Corporations. Through the Emma Bowen foundation, Jeremy has interned
at Comcast Spotlight for two summers in the Marketing and Research Department
and the Human Resources Department.
While at Howard, Jeremy has joined the Freshman Leadership
Academy, National Association of Black Journalists, Public Relations Student
Society of America, Spotlight Network, Endustry Power Players, and Drew Hall
Step Team. Also, he has worked in the Office of Admissions as an Office
Assistant and the Ralph J. Bunche Center of International Affairs as a Student Program Assistant.
On top of everything, he has consistently made Dean’s List every semester. Due
to his hard work in school and experience in the communications field, Jeremy
was recently awarded the Samuel F. Yette Scholarship.
In his spare time Jeremy blogs on his personal style blog Urban Fashionisto, coaches the Drew Hall
Step Team, and reads fashion and entertainment blogs.
