Biography


Jeremy is currently a sophomore public relations major at Howard University, one of the most prestigious universities in the United States of America.
Jeremy was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. He attended Roosevelt Elementary School, where he was admitted into the Gifted Program. He went on to attend Bak Middle School of the Arts, where he majored in Dance. When it came time for high school, Jeremy put away his dance shoes for a rigorous academic curriculum when he decided to attend Suncoast Community High School. At Suncoast High School, he was enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program, a rigorous college preparatory program. He also held numerous leadership positions such as Vice President of the Student Government Association, President of the Black Student Union, and Vice President of Pennies for Peace.

Jeremy was accepted to Howard University on a full-ride scholarship. Also, he was awarded the Kappa Alpha Psi Atwell Scholarship and joined the Emma Bowen Minorities for Media Foundation, a foundation that pairs qualified minority college students and media companies. His corporate sponsor is Comcast Corporations. Through the Emma Bowen foundation, Jeremy has interned at Comcast Spotlight for two summers in the Marketing and Research Department and the Human Resources Department.

While at Howard, Jeremy has joined the Freshman Leadership Academy, National Association of Black Journalists, Public Relations Student Society of America, Spotlight Network, Endustry Power Players, and Drew Hall Step Team. Also, he has worked in the Office of Admissions as an Office Assistant and the Ralph J. Bunche Center of International Affairs as a Student Program Assistant. On top of everything, he has consistently made Dean’s List every semester. Due to his hard work in school and experience in the communications field, Jeremy was recently awarded the Samuel F. Yette Scholarship.

In his spare time Jeremy blogs on his personal style blog Urban Fashionisto, coaches the Drew Hall Step Team, and reads fashion and entertainment blogs.
